E.M Maths- Add and Subtracting Large numbers.

 Hello everyone! How are you? I hope you are having a great day today! So for maths my group, the Circles were supposed to add and subtract big numbers. We were supposed to figure out the answers by ourselves. There were six questions but some of the questions we answered with Miss Farr. This took me about 15 minutes to finish and make, I also found this fun and great, I also found this hard and easy because at first I accidentally added the numbers that I was supposed to subtract, then I had to start all over again. We could post this on our blogs if we wanted to, but if we didn't we didn't have to. Fun Fact: The first oranges weren't orange. That's right! I can't believe it, I always just thought oranges were orange but turn out they weren't always. Please go and check out my workings don below!  Also do you like maths? E.M If I could go back in time to one event what would the event be.

 Ello Ello Ello everyone! How are you? I hope that you are having a great day today! So since it's the Easter Holidays, I'm very bored. So I decided to pick something off the blog contract and do my work. So I decided to pick I you could go back in time to one event what would the event be? So I technically chose two things but it doesn't really matter, but one of the events isn't really an event. It is a place in time. If you want to know make sure to watch the video down below! The main event is when I went to Auckland Rainbows End in 2016! This took me about 2 hours to make. I found this hard because I had to keep on taking videos to try and get the perfect shot. I found this fun and great. I also put a picture of me and my sister Isy in the video and I also put a picture of my favourite ride there. ( Turns out it's called the Invader. I didn't know the name when I did this video but I have just found out.) Fun Fact: Rainbows End opened in December 1982. Please go and check out my work down below! E.M The Tree of Life.

 She Held hope in her outstretched hands, Kneeling gently on the ground, she prepared herself for what she knew she must do. The cool water trickled through her muddy fingers, and the soft, black earth felt comfortingly warm on her palms. 

Planting the tree of life would mean a new beginning. The opportunities were endless...

Feeling the excitement course through her quivering body, she lowered the tree of life into the small hole she had prepared. It was time...

It was a sunny, hot, scorching day in the ver hot, Australia., well isn't it every day? Stella whispered in her head.  She was watching her creepy old neighbor Mr. Grass Worm, While he was cutting down all the trees in his front yard.  Stella always thought he was weird. Stella and her family moved to Australia 5 years ago, she lived there for exactly half of her life.

When Stella first moved into her new home Mr. Grass Worm was a happy cheerful man, until his wife died from Cancer. Ever since the incident happened, he had always been grumpy, sad, most of all SUS.. Stella just thought he was sad because of his wife dying or was it something else? 

Well, back to what Stella was actually doing. Stella was planting a tree, but not just any old tree, it was a special tree, the Tree of Life! She recently got this tree from Mrs. Oldie. Mrs. Oldie worked at the plant shop down the road. The old lady always felt like she and Stella were connected somehow, so did Stella. So she gave Stella a special plant, called The Tree of Life! The Tree of Life could bring life! It could plant millions of more trees, but only if she planted the tree first. 

So she started to plant the tree. The tree had to be fully grown first then the millions of trees would be planted.

After she planted the special tree, she went inside. The next morning the tree was massive. It was almost ready! Then she saw Mr. Grass Worm trying to cut down the important tree! She ran downstairs. Mr. Grass Worm saw her, then he hurried aways into his old, creepy home. While he was running away something small fell out of his pocket. It looked like a small diary. 

She picked the small book up and started to read it. She was horrified. In the book, it said '' How I shouldn't have killed my dear wife''. She was shocked! Straight after she finished reading the sentence in the book she looked up at his house. He was standing there behind the curtains staring at her out the dusty window. He glanced creepily at her. He started to write something on the dusty window while blood dripped down the window. The sentence said  '' Your next''.

E.M Exploring the setting.

Kia Ora everyone! It's Eden here. How are you? I hope you are having a wonderful day. So for our homework in the school holidays, we have been doing activities about our novel studies. The book that I am writing about is Under the Mountain. It is a very good book. So today I am doing an activity on Exploring the setting. Exploring the setting is when you have to tell the reader about the setting in the book and tell them about where the book characters are and what time they are in. This took me about a couple of weeks because I kept forgetting about posting it on my blog. At first, I didn't really get what exploring the setting is but then when I started to read it about more I understood what to do so I found it hard but also easy. Ninja kid!

Hello, I would definitely rate this book 7 out of 10 because it has a lot of twists and turns. I loved reading this book because it was very interesting. I think they should make this book have more characters because there weren't that much. This book is about a boy who turns 10 and he gets ninja superpowers! There are also big giant spiders and someone is controlling them. You should read this book to find more about it also tell me In the comments if you have read this book before! Hello How are you?? I hope you are having a great day! So Today in Whenua we are supposed to pick something to do on the blog Contract! I choose Should kids be able to Chew gum at school! I think that it is good and it is bad at the same time! This took me about 30 minutes! I found this Hard because I had to think of some ideas on what good and bad things are.
