E.M Quiz about Matariki!

Hello! How are you?? I hope you are having a great day today! So This week in Whenua we are learning about the Pleiades, Also known as Matariki! This week we are supposed to do a Quiz about Matariki and how much you know about it. The first time I did this test I got 8 out of 10. ( This is the link to the Quiz... THE LINK!)  So we are supposed to post on our blog three things we learned about Matariki that we didn't know before we did the test. The three things I did not know is... That Winter in Maori is Hotoke. Another thing I learned is that Matariki comes in June, May, and July. The last thing I learned is that Tangaroa is not another name for Matariki. ( Even though I didn't think it was)

Chinese new year the traditions and why its important.

Hello! How is Isolation going for you? I hope it's going good for you! How are you? This week in Whenua we are learning about other New Year traditions and what important to different countries. Today we are learning about the Chinese new year and the traditions and why it's important to do them. This took me about half an hour. This was easy and hard. The easy bit was when I write about it and the hard bit was when I had to edit the slideshow. Thank you so much for reading this from Eden.

So all of us are supposed to make a google event on what we want to do with friends or family so like a future event. This took me about 10 minutes. This was not that hard and not that easy either. E.M Book Review on the stolen stars of Matariki!

Hello How are you?? I'm doing great I hope you are great too! All of Whenua had to do a book review on The stolen stars of Matariki. This took me about half and hour. This was easy and hard. The hardest bit was probably cause and effect. The easiest bit was probably when you had to draw the pictures and when you had to describe the characters. I hope you have a great day! Bye! By Eden.

E.M BREAKING NEWS! The stolen stars Matariki!

in Whenua we have been learning about Matariki and all the beautiful stars! All of us have created our own video of us being news reporters and we had to make our own scripts. This was kinda hard and kinda easy. The hardest bit was when I had to edit it because I'm new to wevideo. E.M The tricky problem

Hello, how are you doing? I am doing great! How is Quarantine going? It must be boring. This week we have been learning about Matariki, The nine stars. There are nine stars in the cluster. Their names are  Matariki, Tupu-ā-rangi, Waipuna-ā-rangi, Waiti,  Tupu-ā-Nuku, Ururangi, and Waitā.
This took me about an hour. The easiest part was when we had to brainstorm it. The hardest bit was probably the end bit. There is also a book about it too.I hope you are having a great time at home! Bye! By Eden.
